I,m a waitress I'm on my legs everyday. If I don't have a knee replacement soon I wont be able to walk.I don't have an extra $500. A month extra for insurance and can't seem to find anything for less that will cover the surg.I also have to say enough money to cover my expences for the 3 months I'll be off. Public Aid won't help.I feel helpless.Any ideas?

  1. nor will you find insurance.

insurance is about unknown and uncertain future events.  you have a known, past event.  Insurance doesn't cover known past events.

the only exceptions I know of are government and unionized employment health coverages, which tend to cover everything for all employees.  maybe.

probably, you'll have to do the best you can.

  2. If you dont make enough money you can always try Medicaid
