I had a weird dream last weak that I was unsure to post on here...

Her it goes:

blah blah blah, my dream went on, alot of things happened that don't matter...but, at one point, I ended up in a fortune teller's/witches house (in Mexico, they are called "bruja's") (never in my life would I ever think of any situation so stupid! but I was there, I hate all that spooky c**p with witches, mythology, etc...) ...anyway I was there with other people, and before she "treated" us, she told us wat she was going to do first, when she came to me, she said that I must cleanse myself in a pool to get rid of "it" (sounds like a baptism, believe me, I'm the opposite of a religious fanatic, lol!)

I watched patiently as she treated all of the other people before me, but for some reason, when she came to me, I said "It does not bother me in the pool, I only comes out at night" (?)lol, then I eventually asked "do you want to talk to it?"

  1. It could possibly be nothing, since it is not a recurring dream. There are some religious aspect into your dream. Baptism could mean that you might be seeking renewal or reconfirmation of your religious belief - since, you mentioned it anyway. There's this struggle of being raised with your religion and your concept now about it. The bruja is not really a bad image in your dream and nothing to do with the demon. The witch is more like St John the Baptist in your dream. As you said, you hate those mystical stuffs, that's why you were feeling afraid or apprehensive in your dream. What might be possessing you could be some guilt you are carrying. When we dream things they tend to be an overly exaggerated of what we went through in our waking life.

But what I suspected is that while you were sleeping, your brother could have just been messing around with you.

  2. Hi,

I went through a pretty long period when I could not FEEL God anywhere and was starting to panic.  I felt He was not talking to me at all.  But, looking back, I realize during that time I had SO many strange and vivid dreams.  I suspect they were full of messages for me!  Thankfully, he was also speaking in other ways, through books I read, etc.  He was bypassing my "heart" so He could get to my head and stretch my concept of Him to be far greater than anything I could have ever imagined.

I want to mention this now, before I forget... all those parts of the dream you think were not important... they probably are important.  Dreams are often like a jigsaw puzzle that has to be worked.  The bit that seems insignificant may hold a key you need.

The fact that you visited the witch in your dream means you are looking for God in the wrong places right now... in mysteries and occult places.  That is not where you will find Him.  Those are cheap substitutes meant to "fill" that God Hunger inside you with something intriguing and somewhat sensational, but they will never satisfy and lead to confusion and even death.  Certainly spiritual death.

I'm wondering if the thing that only comes out at night are your questions, fears and doubts about God.  Consider this.  Is that when they haunt you most, after you're in your room at night  with no one else around?

The weird voice that came out of you is probably the voice of satan, the evil one.  What this indicates is that he is trying to take over your life, planting fear and doubt, trying to kill your faith.  There may even be one or more demons assigned to your "case" to try to destroy your faith.  This does not mean you are a bad person.  It means you are being stalked and harassed, targeted for special attention right now.  As you can see, they are making an impact on you.  Searching for God in psychic, strange mysteries or the occult will only give him more power in your life.  It WILL lead you from being oppressed to him having MORE power in your life.

I have a website with tips for resisting the attacks of this evil one and building your faith.  It's kind of a "spiritual first aid kit" or "basic survival kit" for spiritual warfare or growing stronger in your faith.    I hope you will spend some time there.  I think you will find some things that will be helpful to you.

Pray and ask God to reveal Himself to you.  If you do not get some immediate, recognizable answer, keep spending time reading your Bible, praying, singing spiritual songs and pure things that will build your faith.  This is spiritual food, and you cannot starve yourself without dying spiritually.  Do not do this to try to earn God's grace.  Do it because you want Him to be real and in your life, even if you can't feel or see Him anywhere right now.  He will honor this and if you do not give up, your reward will be great.

    God bless you!

  3. Maybe not.Dreams are subconscious renderings of a conscious mind. What things you think of in the day time become dreams at night. What ever deep thoughts you have, become a subconscious "reality".Since you say that you are the opposite of a religious fanatic, then that would make you a satanic fanatic-your words, not mine.

Most Christians, by the way, are not fanatics, they just love the Lord, and most of them have mediocre dreams, not far out like yours.

You may in actuality be demon possessed. It does happen in this day and time.
