I'm a slow learner can I still become a good Paramedic with work ethic?

I have trouble staying focused and my comprehension skills are not the best so I often have to read things over a few times and I have trouble remembering things off the top of my head. But I want to help people for a living and my dream is to become a paramedic but being a paramedic (not an EMT) requires alot of schooling and I was wondering if i could make it with a good work ethic.

If you are willing to work hard, you can certainly fulfill your dreams. It would help if you studied with a friend. That way, you can discuss the course work with each other. It helps to read the material aloud first and then read it again silently. By using the sense of hearing as well as sight, you double your chances of remembering the course work. I honestly believe that with good work ethic and patience you can do anything. If you're willing to do your part, most teacher will be more than willing to help you out and help you understand the things you are missing. Good luck!
