  1. I agree go with soldiers wife it has a ring to it :-)

  2. u should get "soliders wife"..no matter how long he stays in...he will always be a solider..

  3. prisoner of love

    active duty

    i just wanna be awol

life starts at zero hundred hours

  4. Go with Army wife, I agree, I don't like the "veteran wife" idea.  It does make you sound like you or at least your husband is 60 or something.  Ultimately you are putting something permanent on your body, it should be your decision what it is.

Forget Nashville guy, I have a tattoo of my husband's name and I don't worry about our marriage breaking up.  Some of us still believe in till death do us part.

  5. Well veteran or active you will always be a soldiers wife, it is a title we earn and keep.

And don't worry about the first poster, it only matters if you and your husband think its hot.

  6. that's very  unwise..i don't mean to be sexist or anything, but tattoos on women are abhorrent..just my opinion...oh, ok,..you didn't like my answer...then just get a big "ARMY WIFE" tattooed across your forehead if you're so pro-tattoo, that will show me. and who are you trying to impress with that?? is it that important to you that the world knows your husband serves in the army? you can't just go through life knowing that your husband is doing a noble thing without advertising it to the rest of the world? gawd..and by the way, my mom is a military wife and i would be sickened and ashamed  if she came home with a tattoo stating a obvious fact ...

  7. I like it - stick with soldiers wife - once a soldier always a soldier and once a soldiers wife always a soldiers wife.

  8. Good for you. If you want a tat then get a tat. If you don't want Veterans wife on it then don't. that first poster has no idea. It is you that will look at the tat most often and him in his dreams.  I think that it's great that your husband is a veteran and that you support him enought the get the tat in the first place.

Flash thought. get the tat leave out Veterans wife and leave in the ID discs

  9. I would have to say the best thing to do is go with what you feel.  A tattoo is an expression that you are showing.  Think of how you would express being a proud Army wife.  Do you want something cute or something more on the line that Soldiers get?  I do like the Vet's wife idea.  Run with it.  By the way, tell your husband "Thank You".

  10. Actually I think that is a beautiful sign of being proud of your husband and also very patriotic and I think the design is nice, where will you get it?  I think on the inside of your wrist would be nice, and have veterans wife done with a single thin needle, so as it does not spread the ink.

Who cares what anyone else thinks, this is your body, and it is a sign of respect.

You go girl!!!!  And good on you. send through some pics when you get it done, I so love tattoos, they are very addictive aren't they?

    Minny :-)

  11. Please don't take this the wrong way, but one should NEVER get a tattoo about that has anything to do with a spouse. As much as you love him, things happen sometimes that ruin marriages. I hope that doesn't happen, but about 1/2 of marriages fail. Don't get stuck with a reminder.

  12. I think putting army wife would be just fine. Once an army wife, always an army wife.
