Where do new moms get jobs? My husband is irresponsible and can't provide for his family. He could provide for us if he actually stayed at a job longer than 3 months. I am a stay at home mom and I have a 7 month old daughter, no other kids. We can't afford daycare, but I may have to work just to put her through daycare.

I share a car with my husband, but right now his "business partner" is picking him up daily. He hides things from me (like his daily pay sheets since he does piece rate work, it varies daily. We used to sit down and figure them out together, but since then, he stopped doing that and splits the money with his friend!) He has serious issues, and I need to be SUPER MOMMY and save the family over this!

Geez, I think I'm going to become over exhausted from being the Nanny, the babysitter, the Maid, and the emotional rollercoaster!

  1. I would check the newspaper or internet. Try http://hotjobs.yahoo.com/  You can go to your city and state and look for jobs in any field. If anything you might have to start out at the bottom of the totem pool until you get more experience. You can also take online schooling part time. I am 29 with a 12 yr old and a 9 mon old and I just graduated with only a certificate after a year but with my job I can start out at $15/hr at least. I went for Medical Administrative Assistant. You should check that out. Plus you will get financial aid from the government. I didn't pay anything for school. If you need more info please email me. Thanks and Good Luck!

  2. florist

  3. to get started, I'd take the first job that came along just to get some money in. while working there, try to get into an office as a secretary or something like that.
