I'm a teen and I can't wear makeup!?

Question

My mom treats me like a 7 year old.

I'm 13 now, and she refuses to let me wear makeup.

Seriously, EVERYONE is wearing makeup these days, girls around my age.

And it's not like I'm trying to look S****y or anything.

Just a little.

How can I convince my mom?

Are there like, any online articles about letting your kid wear makeup? Thanks!

just try and wear natural hues and colors...n um u dnt wanna wear makeup all the time n b like everybody else....makeup is like 4 flaws in my opinion...b u

see if you can put it on if she sees how much it is or maybe she puts it on. just do a little gloss mascara and eyeshadow. also to look fantastic skin cleansers are great to make your skin glow.

well you could just wear like some mascara and eyeliner but dont go all out. and show your mom that your not a little kid anymore that you can be mature!

oh god i totally hate the fact that parents think they can control us. first of all, you are most definetely NOT too young, girls are wearing makeup when they're 11! your mom is probably afraid you will look S****y, so just show her you don't want to wear too much makeup. buy some mascara and tell her, 'i'm just putting this on. that's it.' and slowly, add more products to your routine.

if ur mom still thinks you're too young, put on makeup after you leave the house. hey, it's your face right?

You should go to a store and buy some makeup, put it on, and if your mom likes how you look with it, she'll probably let you start using some, but if she doesn't, i'm sorry, but you;ll just have to wait.

hey! she's thinking abt u which i good.You can't wear make-ups until ur 18 bcuz u'll look ugly later of wearing too much of it but you can wear a little like mascara, eyeliner and eyeshaowd and eye stuffs

OH BOO HOO!  My parents wouldn't let me wear make up even though I was 16!  YOU DON'T HAVE TO GIVE INTO PEER PRESSURE YOU KNOW.
