I'm going to sell bracelets and other crafts that I make online. My mom and I do craft shows together and a lot of my stuff sells. I was just curious to know if I have to get a permit or what all do I have to do so it won't be illegal. Please let me know any tips you can offer.

Thanks in advance :)

  1. You need a work permit (if your under 18) you need a website, you need an e-commerce system if you will be selling them online. You MIGHT (unsure) need a business license.

    - I do website design for a cheap price, email me at jagarrett@earthlink.net and I may be able to work something out with you regarding your website/ ecommerce.

  2. Try etsy.com. A great place to sell homemade goods.

You may need a PayPal account or credit card. Most online ventures require some form of start up costs. Ask your mom for help! :)

  3. I don't think you have to get a permit.  Anyone can sell a product online, but the key is to knowing exactly how to go about doing it.  This site literally covers everything from A-Z regarding starting an online business.  You should really check it out:  http://www.profitingfromtheinternet.com
