I think my voice may have broken, or it may just be that I've never been taught how to sing high...

  1. Take voice lessons (preferably private if you can afford it) but one thing that might help is think about where the vibrations are coming from in your body and also (this helps me) the harder the note is to reach the louder you have to sing, that will make it easier to hit and make you sound a whole lot better =D

  2. ^ hahahaha.

    yes i agree

we cant teach you how to sing.

if so we would be off these computers and making LOTS of money.

  3. ditto

  4. Exactly, you need vocal lessons.

  5. take an acting class ASAP!!!!

  6. Raise your soft palette(should feel like you are yawning), and squeeze in your stomach muscles. Imagine sending the sound into your forehead. Try it, it might help.

  7. Don't worry, your voice isn't broken :) As you said, you probably just haven't learned how to access your head voice properly. This is common among beginning singer, since singing in a "speech level" voice comes more naturally.

Take some voice lessons. A good teacher will be able to show you not only how to access that register but also how to fully develop your chest register and then blend the two together. This can't be done over the internet or with those "learn to sing" tapes. You need someone who can actually watch what you're doing to give you personal feedback.

  8. To sing in head voice you have to have a good diaphram.hold in your stomach and take a deep breath. practice at home until you have a good tone... A high voice is NO GOOD if you do not have good tone..
