  1. stay come do your best if you really want to play it your going to do goood. i love valleyball thats how my tteam wins so yeah...

  2. well the best  way to get better is just to make some good friends and have them help you and when passing GET LOW anfd when you set make sure you dont start with you arms state and hitting is hard at first but once you get the hang of it ang get  your timing down with surving have a furm hand and lift not a toss (over hand)

  3. CONTROL. That's the number one thing that you need to be good at. If you don't have it, the games are gonna be embarrassing!

Always get the second hit to you setter, and if u are the setter, get the 2nd hit and get it to your middle blocker so she/he can spike/drive it over the net. Try to get three hits all together....Talk to your team mates! Call the ball and BE AGGRESSIVE.

Always be in ready position, which is hands on your knees, ready to run. Make sure you understand how to rotate and get back to your spot.

Practice your serves whenever possible, that is the easiest way to get easy points! Overhand serve if possible because it's harder and you are more likely to get points.

    Remember, CONTROL!!

  4. controll and thats the only key

  5. 1. Always have control of the ball.  If you don't have control, you don't have anything.  You could be the fastest person on your team, but it doesn't mean anything if you don't have control of where it is going.

    2.  Do not be afraid of the ball.  The worst mistakes I see while playing, is when people are afraid of getting down and under the ball.  You will have a lot of success if you just go for it, and nobody will care if you miss or not, because YOU are the one that tried.

    3.  Always keep off of your heels.  You can't do much when you are on flat feet, and people get caught all of the time that way.  It is hard to move fast when you aren't ready.

    4.  Work with your three hits.  If you get the ball, don't just try to get it over.  Team work is the best, and in the end, it is what will make you win.  They don't have three hits for nothing.

    5.  Don't hit the ball off of your thumb or the bone.  This causes lack of control.  Always make sure that your wrists are even, looking like a platform- this will become easy and you won't have to make sure, when you learn how to hold you hands perfectly.

    6.  Have as much fun as you can!  People get worse and worse in playing, when they aren't having fun.  It isn't always about winning, think positive- a lot of the time I have to work with the other captain to keep my teams spirits up, because when they get angry or down, they start to get worse and worse, which causes more anger and frusteration.

A lot of Volleyball has to do with you and your mind.  If you believe you can do it, you can do it.  But if you go in with a rotten attitude and believing the worst, you will do horrible.  I know you will be good, and if you have any questions about anything, I can help you.  Just email me.

  6. Yeah. To bump the ball have your arms parallell and have your thumbs together over your fingers. To set make a diamond with your pointer and thumb on both hands and set the ball off your forehead. To Spike all you need to do is bring your hand back and smackk the ball with your palm! To serve over hand, you throw the ball up not too high or too close to you; when it comes down far enough like a spike hit it with your palm. Thats all there is to volleyball! Don't forget your knee pads! you really need those!

    HOPE THIS HELPSS!!!

  7. you have to sacrafice your body for the ball. and dont put your hands on your knees. put them in front of you so you can easily bump the ball.

on the first hit you just want to get the ball up in the air towards the setter. dont swing your arms, usually you barely even have to move to bump the ball. face your shoulders where you want it to go.

for setting, you want to never have the ball touch your palms... this is a push. just use your fingertips or the upper part of your fingers and- this is weird- but push the ball with your butt, your whole body. a good set makes almost no sound and th eobject is to get it to the spiker or to someone else who will send it over.

for a spiker... which i am... you want to practice starting outside the bounds line at the 10 ft line and running up to the net and air spiking until you get your steps right.

you need alot of ups to spike.

your spike should go cross court and strait down.

  8. just have confidence in what you do. go for each ball and don't expect your teammates to have it. Always always always call the ball, it will help you forever. Also don't worry about anything, if you have fun, and go for the ball, you'll be playing at your best. and don't forget to have fun!
