  1. cube it and soak it in soy sauce then once its soaked for about ten min. strain it and put it in a wok then add some already cooked rice and some vegetables and  a little more soy sauce. then when that is almost done cooking turn up the heat a little add an egg and stir it in and cook until egg is done

  2. It does lack a bit of taste but what it lacks in taste it makes up for in versatility and nutrition.  There are dozens of ways of using it.  Stir fry is good.  (or just fried in slabs on its own with lots of S&P and perhaps a little hot sauce if you're into that)

One of my favorite ways of using is it is in 'bagel brushetta'.  I take a couple of toasted half bagels, lay a couple of slabs of firm tofu and then add a tomato, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and fresh herb mixture on top.  And then broil it all in the oven for a couple of minutes.  mmmm!

  3. I get firm tofu and put it on a dinner plate.

I put another plate on top and add a couple heavy books to press the extra water out.

Then I drain and cube up to use in a stirfry.

  4. I only cooked it once...in a stir fry...ended up throwing it away. I did not care for the lack of taste and the texture was not to my liking.

  5. Tofu is great! You can bake it, fry it, boil it, bread it, stuff it, BBQ! You can make a stir-fry with other veggies, put it in soup, scramble it with veggies and nutrional yeast and make tofu scramble.

There are tons of good tofu dishes! Any specific kind you are looking for? There's so many but here are some good ones:

  6. I usually douse it with gasoline and light it up from 20ft away. Tofu is an evil substance.

  7. I often cook it in a wok, with vegetables in a Chinese style stir-fry.

Covered in bread crumbs and deep fried is good too.
