  1. Well first the gyno is going to ask you some personal questions.  You have to answer them truthfully so he/she will know what to give you upon your irregular period.  I have been in that situation and the gyno gave me birth control pills.  My period went from 20 days to just 4 days a month.  Birth Control pills regulate your hormones in your body to perform well.  make sure you take them correctly or you can have spotting inbetween periods and sometimes your period will not come on for a month and be extra heavy the next month it comes on.  Good LUck you have nothing to worry about.  I know they will give you a papsmear, not to check for std's cause you are avirgin, but to check for cancer in your ovaries.  Neva be scared of anything because when you find out early about personal situations you can learn and avoid them from occuring again.

  2. It won't affect it at all I just went to have mine done last tuesday, all they do is check you down there and they might touch the inside to see if it's okay and stuff. But it won't hurt at all, I'm still a virgin and it okay still down there, and they are gonna look down there but they put a robe over you and stuff.

  3. It totally matters on the person. Youll still be a virgin but if you havent had s*x before it is going to be really weird, it was for me anyways, I basically felt like I got raped after

  4. no

  5. The doctor will stick a speculum in your v****a. It opens up your v****a so that they can see inside. He or she will do a pap smear. That's when they scrap off some of the cells on your cervix, and test for abnormal cells and stuff. Since your a virgin they probably wont do any STD testing. You will still be a virgin though. It's like when you wear a tampon that doesn't make you not a virgin anymore. good luck.

  6. -(For a normal check up) They stick about an inch of the metal/plastic clamps in the opening and crank you open a little bit (not enough to hurt.) Then your cervex gets swabbed with a q-tip. (Normally doesn't hurt.)

-(Also normal) A finger exam - Two fingers are inserted while the Dr. applies pressure on your abdominal area.

You will probably get both of these things, maybe a urine test.

And you will answer a lot of questions.

    Thats it.

  7. The doctor will stick a plastic thing in you so he/she can see in you and get some skin for a test. It most likely break your hymen if it hasnt been broken already from tampons ect..

  8. It's just really uncomfortable. Depending on if you have a pap smear or not  is how they will examine you. I think the first time I went he just used his fingers (I was a virgin) and made sure everything was in it's proper place. Now they slide up a thin metal instrument (does not hurt at all) and they kinda open me up a little and get a swab of the inside. They use lube, so it doesn't hurt too bad - you just have to remember to relax and keep breathing really deep. it doesn't take long at all. It will not affect the virgin thing at all.it has nothing to do with being a virgin or not. if you are a virgin and don't wear tampons it may hurt a little more then if you do... It is never fun, but there is no pain or horrible things. It's more then awkward to have your legs spread out in the stirrups..but remember he or she has seen it all, so try and relax and it will make everything go easier.
