Why does everyone say be yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you are trying to get guys to notice you

Make friends

When you live in everyday society

because (dint think I'm cynical let me explain) they are being complete hypocrites and well lying because lets face it if you want to get the "OMG hot popular" guy at school you cant say be yourself because you are going to have to became a S****y desperate girl until he will notice you and then you sit there and ask he likes me ...but is that really you? Okay i have excepted myself and i love myself and in life they say be yourself but i honestly thinking's act like yourself around those people ..don't even be around them i think everyone should find someone in relief's that loves you for exactly who you are nothing more and nothing less.I might not have 100000 friends but i do have lyk 12 friends and they are there we have fun because we are not faking our personality and i know they are my true friends.I'm guessing i don't makee secence cauz i tend not to but do you agree if you get it

I get what your saying and you should be proud that you are comfortable in your own skin, because not many can say that.  Those who have not yet reached the security in ones self shouldn't be judged though.  If you understand that insecurities cause people to act in such inappropriate ways, then you should feel for them (even if you really dislike that individual).  So my advice it to "be yourself"( ha ha j/k) be true to yourself and once you are whole you can find someone to add to not to make you complete.  Maybe the new saying should be...."BE COMPLETE".  Good luck and be good.

Whoa...next time organize your thoughts before you write, because that took me a long while to understand what the heck you were talking about.

You are going to meet hypocrites everywhere you go, and yes sometimes you will be a hypocrite too.  Just be secure in your own skin, and know that when you find a guy, he will like you for who you truly are, not the show that you put on.  Don't worry about popularity, I've never been one to believe in that.

Um...other than that, what was your question really?  I agree with you, I guess, but I'm still having a hard time understanding what you are asking about.
