  1. When I was younger I would always sneak in stray kittens I would find. But luckily my parents were always understanding and if I couldn't keep them I would just call a shelter and they would pick them up at my house for free.

I think you should let your parents know because they're going to find out at some point, and you're going to need their help. Plus you would be surprised how attached you and the kitten will get to each other and it would be very sad to have to give it away if your parents won't keep it and/or problems occur with your Beagle.

  2. So, are you also planning to sneak in the litter box, kitty litter, cat food, food and water bowls, and cat toys?  And are you planning to "sneak" the kitten to the vet's office for the necessary shots and medical care that may become necessary?  A litter box has to be cleaned and the contents disposed of every day and I don't know how you'd pull that off without your mom knowing that something's up.  Also, a kitten is a living creature that has needs like playing and exploring.  How can you provide for those needs if you're hiding the kitten?  You should also know that medical care (even routine vaccinations and exams) can be expensive, and based on your age, I don't think you'd be able to handle that responsibility.  So, please, think about the harm you'd be doing if you sneak a kitten into your home without your mom's permission, and don't do it!

  3. if you can manage to sneak a litter box/litter, and cat food home. i did it before(: i was only 6 though.. and my parents let me keep him amazingly :D

  4. no its not a good idea!!!!!

  5. No, I don't think sneaking is ever a good idea.

The beagle's behavior is a dominance act and shouldn't be tolerated.

  6. Kittens are vocal. They have litter boxes that require cleaning. They are NOT ''easy to hide'', and I'm sure your mom will notice something's new, even if the kitten stays quiet, your Beagle will behave excited.

Do NOT sneak animals. Cats live 14+ yrs. Eventually, your mother will find out, and it's not fair to the kitten to be in a home that isn't accepting.

  7. It is not a good idea at all.  It is very irresponsible on your part.  If you want to get a kitten, you need to discuss it with your parents.  Introducing animals to one another can also be an issue.

  8. How long do you think it will be before your mom finds out? What do you think she will do?

    Where was your beagle?

  9. no it is not a good idea. it's a foolish and irresponsible idea. you don't do things like bring home a cat without your parents permission. what happens when mom won't let you keep it? then kitty winds up in an animal shelter, when if you weren't selfish, she could have wound up in a good home right from the start.

think about the kitten and the situation you would be putting it in. stop thinking about yourself and what you want.

  10. If you liked the kitten enough you wouldn't consider putting it in danger like that, with your dog and everything. Plus your mom will find out quick because you're going to have to have a litter box (that stinks) and cat food. Plus kittens are very playful and are bound to get into trouble.

  11. ask your mom first, maybe shell be okay with it
