  1. Why not ask your recruiter?

  2. We don't have corpsman in the army. We have medics and then medics who also have w6 identifier.

  3. To be a Medic in the Army it's something around 50.

I enlisted as a Medic about 3 years ago, and that was the score I needed back then.

  4. Corpsmen are Navy...That is what am (once a corpsman always a corpsman..but I am out of the Navy now)

    Medics are with the Army

For Navy the ASVAB would need to be: VE+MK+GS=146

For Army the ASVB would need to be: 91W--Health Care Specialist ST=95 (I am not sure about Army MOS that would equil Corpsman...but you can look at the link below)

  5. can't be a HM in the Army.   only in the Navy.

your recruiter IS the one you need to be asking, so you better get that chip off your shoulder d**n fast.

Or better yet do a simple Google search and find out yourself.

  6. corpsmen are navy docs imbeded with Marines the Army have medics, but i'm not sure about how the army works sorry

  7. no, but i can tell you that you cant be a Corpsman in the Army.im assuming you mean the medics that are embedded in USMC units?they are Navy medical personnel.i guess they also hang out on base but the REAL Corpsman are embedded and Marines have alot of respect for them..i'm not really sure if you can be a female embedded Corpsman however as they can be involved in direct heavy combat.

  8. No Corpsmen in the Army.  Talk to the Navy recruiter if that is what you want to do.

  9. Hospital Corpsman is a Navy job, the Army job is Healthcare Specialist (68W).

The score requirement is a GT score of 107 and an ST score of 101.

This usually means an AFQT score of about 60 or higher (AFQT is your overall ASVAB score).

You should be asking your recruiter questions like this.
