I'm about to go on a mandatory jog and I have an extremely sore inner, upper thigh muscle. What should i do?

  1. Get some arnica gel and apply that several times a day and before you go to bed tonight. It's available at most pharmacies or drug stores. It's totally worth it. For today, warm up by walking briskly and then stretch for about 10 minutes (slow long stretches) so you don't further injure your inner thigh. That's tough. If you can, rest out today's mandatory job (is that at all possible) to ice your muscle and get some arnica gel on it. I over extended my calf muscles on the elliptical machine last week, applied the gel multiple times in one day and overnight, and the next morning, almost no pain or stiffness. Good luck.


  2. I have played football for 7 years and i know how you feel. Stretch it, Ben g*y/icy hot it and keep the blood flowing to it. Loosen it up a little bit but when it comes down to it, you will forget about it while running. Soreness goes away once you are about in the middle of running.
