I'm about to walk in my application along with resume, cover letter and typing certificate. What is the correct order and should i put it in a folder or something? Also the application is stapled (they handed it out like that), should i leave it that way?

  1. Unfortunately there is no right or wrong answer to this question as it all depends on what the person that you are submitting it to would want, and there's no way of knowing that.

    Personally, I would go with:

    1. Application Form.

    2. Cover Letter.

    3. Resume.

    4. Typing Certificate.

I would staple them all together.  When I was a hiring manager, and I have heard the same from other hiring managers, that paper clips are annoying because they can easily come off, or they can unintentionally combine more than one package together.  That doesn't mean that everyone would want them stapled, but that was my preference, as well as others I knew.

    Good luck!

  2. cover letter first, then their own application, then your resume, and finally, your typing certificate.

I would suggest leaving their application stapled, as was given, but use a paperclip to hold whole thing together. I've always been advised to not staple your stuff, but use a paperclip.

good luck, hope you get it.
