My aunt has agreed to let me have a party in the basement, and that everyone would vacate the house for the night. I'm kinda on a tight budget, and need some cheep ideas of what to do for the party, food to serve, music, whatever you think might be good. Please.

  1. If you have a computer burn some of your favorite songs on to a cd so that you don't have to continue to change it.

    chips and dips

    prezles

Put sub meats on a plate with mustard, mayo, pickles, etc on separate bowls; with little sub rolls

a few bags of M&M's in a bowl Buy plain just in case someone is algeric to peanut butter

    Paper Plates

    Paper Cups

Dump Bags of ice in a cooler for drinks

    Bottles of various soda's

    Hopes this helps.

  2. party wid snacks, music and w/e u like to do or ask da other pplez :)

  3. 1) Bake your own cake/make your own dessert. It's simple. A cake mix runs less than $3, powder sugar, butter, and milk won't be more than $10 total = cake and icing for less than $10.

    2) Make a fruit punch of a container of Hawaiian Punch, a liter of 7up/Sprite, and some orange juice. It's way tasty. Then just keep pitchers of ice water and bowls of ice for your thirsty customers. Soda is optional.

    3) Make your entree. Find out what your friends want besides pizza (which is also do-able, but more difficult if you've never done it). Grilling out is a cheap solution and a lot of fun, so burgers, brats, hot dogs, etc. are easy. Corn on the cob is cheap this time of year, too. Otherwise, make something like sloppy joes, pulled pork, spaghetti, tacos, or even homemade mac n cheese. Everyone loves these, so you really can't go wrong. You can make the majority of those ahead of time and so you won't be fussing over food at the last minute.

    4) Bring a laptop or your Ipod docking system (you can get a docking speaker set (generic) for under $20 if you don't already have one) down to your basement and just make a playlist of all your favorite songs. Then just let it play.

    5) Think of fun group games to play--mafia, taboo, clue, twister, etc. Anything you can do together--however simple--is always more fun than just watching a movie.

    6) It depends on who you're having over and what your personality is. For ex. if it's all girls, you can do salon night. Have everyone bring their curling irons/straighteners/rollers, nail polish, and hair supplies--gel, spray, volumizer, etc. and just have a great girls night in. If you're big into musicals, having a musical-karaoke  night. If you're having both sexes over, play Battle of the Sexes. Boys vs. girls is always fun. Watch a marathon of your favorite show and have everyone assume a role from that (if it's one you an your friends all regularly watch) for the entire night.

    7) Keep decorations to a minimum. Clean the basement up and provide plenty of room for seating if you don't have a lot of chairs.

    8) You don't need party favors--just tell everyone thanks for coming in a very personable way. Otherwise, send cake and leftovers home with them.

    Happy 19th!

  4. I think u should organize a BBQ party !!

It sounds great and u don't need to spend to much time and money on it..

You can get chicken, pulled pork, and ribs, along with sides and cornbread. I like Famous Dave's; there may be a location near you. BBQ feels like a celebration and yet is relaxed !!!

  5. get pizza or go to the grocery store and get already cooked meals. go to your nearest party store and decorations, you might be able to find a type of theme that you want for your party. if you have a ipod without speakers go to walmart and purchase one (there not that pricey). if you dont have an ipod ask your friends to bring there ipod or there favorite CD's. rent movies and have a ood time

    happy birthday
