This house has been sprayed underneath and bombed several times recently. However, I am still seeing a few live roaches everytime I walk through. I'm not sure if anything was done in the other apartments. I have to live here until me and my wife complete nursing school. This is a very nice and clean place with the exception of these d**n critters. I HATE ROACHES PLEASE HELP!!!!

  1. The easiest way would be to get an exterminator. Someone who will give you a warranty for a year. Boric acid (also called Borax) helps too, put a very fine layer in every crack, everywhere you see the roaches. It is a lot of work, so I would opt for the exterminator.

Edit. Not all Boric acid is the same, this one is pretty good: http://www.dfwx.com/boric.html

  2. well you can seal up all of your cracks and corners with a special poison or (not reccomended) get centipede cause they love roaches to eat.

  3. Roaches are really tough to get rid of completely.  Try sprinkling Borax (good ol' Twenty Mule Teem Borateem) around the edges of your apartment, inside the cupboards especially under the sink and under the stove and refrigerator.  Roaches will not cross this non-poisonous line.

  4. Roach motels really do work.  Place as many as you can and change them AT LEAST once a month.

You could try getting a gecco but if your neighbors use pesticides you could poison the poor critter and that's not really fair.

There are also devices that you plug into an outlet that send of high pitched signals into the walls that drive them out and away.

    Good luck to you.

  5. The exterminator is the best. Try to find one, that will come once and maybe in couple weeks again to kill the new ones ( the pesticide they use don't necessary kill the eggs).

Put chlorine or ammonia to your toilet and toilet tanks, check if you don't have any water leak (shower, sink, kitchen and under kitchen sink).Cut any water source for them- they can't survive without of water for long .
