1) I have a 600cc enduro and my right turn signal doesn't work. May I still test on this bike or is that an automatic failure? My left turn signal works, headlight and brake lights all work but the right turn signal.

2) What should I expect for the skills test? More detail the better!

3) How easy will this test be?

4) Am I missing anything? :-)

  1. Hey, bro, first be sure everything is operative on the bike; including blinkers.  Personally I think you'll find the test a breeze; easier than a car (no parallel parking, lol).

They have you drive up the street, alley, road and turn around w/out touching the ground with your foot, and without stopping.  They have you drive towards them and stop at a predesignated spot on the street to test your depth perception and coordination.  They will want you to know everything about the bike, basics that is....fuel shut off valve, ignition, oil check, switch, blinkers, brights, etc.  You'll kill em w/your mad skills.  Good luck and enjoy the road, man.

    Mean Mike.

  2. 1) Your bike won't pass inspection without the signals working, but they might let you use it. I'm not sure.

    2) You should expect to be tested on the basics, such as starting, stopping, turning, turning in tight spaces, and basic knowledge.

    3) It's really not that hard, and if you think you know what you're doing, you'll probably be fine.

    4) There's only one way to find out!
