I've heard that you shouldn't use an iron with holes in the bottom. My trip is tomorrow so I dont have the time to get a real one. What do you think?

  1. yeah my brothers did it and didnt tell my parents and my mom used it and ruined what she was ioring

they got in trouble but it was really funny!

  2. you'll look great all wrinkled. you got your priorities straight. use the iron.

  3. You could just get the liquid wax that comes in the Yellow and Black container. It is pretty good but smells bad. I bought it at the resort for $10.

  4. personally...i would take it to a ski/board shop....friends and I have had better luck with them (if its not a super busy week, cause that could take them a day till they get to your board)

otherwise..you can use an iron with holes....the wax will just get in the holes...no biggie...as long as you dont intend to use it for cloths anymore.

  5. skip the home job and take it to the pros at the ski shop.

  6. of course you can use a regular iron! It's a little bit trickier, but not much. you just have to make sure you buff and scrape the excess wax off your board, and don't use an iron you intend to use on clothing or your shirts will be all waxy. If you use oneballjay wax they'll be ruined, but they'll smell good.

  7. Yes you can use it.  But once it has been used for waxing it can't be used for ironing clothes anymore.
