  1. You will find that many churches (especially bigger ones) will offer services on multiple days of the week so that might help you be able to go on whatever day you will have off. But as an  accountant I would imagine that you would have Sunday off anyways. You can demand to have Sunday off but that could prevent you from being hired. I would just look for a company that gives you Sunday off and just apply there. It's the law that they have to give you time for your religious activities. So maybe if you just get hired first and then say that you want to go to church then they will have to give you Sunday off and it will be illegal for them to fire you for it. But most companies I'm sure will just find another reason to fire you if it bothers them that much. But like I said, you should not really have a problem as an accountant getting Sunday off. Accounting I believe falls into the category of being more of a "workin for the man" type of job and those kinds of jobs always work a standard 5-day work week with weekends off. Good Luck!!

  2. Tell your employer that you will not work on Sunday because it is your day of worship. They have to make reasonable allowances for your request.
