  1. I changed my name back to my 'birth' name at 24.

    Best decision I ever made.

  2. I had no problem at all. Its as easy as if you weren't adopted. Good luck. I love being married :)

  3. Difficulty - legally - or emotionally???

If you're adopted - you have been issued with a new birth certificate which (falsely) states that your adoptive mother and father gave birth to you - and this is now your official birth certificate.

You shouldn't have a problem legally.

Emotionally - I quite liked it - as I wasn't a real 'maiden name' anyway - but I actually got to choose my 'married name'. (that is I chose my husband - whereas - adoption was chosen for me)
