I have eight credits from ninth grade, I passed my first regents, but now I have to take three regents this year, plus chemistry next year, then I need 22 credits to graduate, I won't graduate if I don't pass all my regents, I have to take 3 electives, and if I don't graduate, I'll work at McDonald's my whole life and my life will absolutely suck.

Then they make me manage every class I have, I have to take Spanish this year or I'll have to pay for college Spanish, and this is way too difficult!!!

Is anyone else drowning in all the credits and stuff?!! I feel like I'll loose all my friends if I don't dedicate my entire life to school.

  1. You need to work at it if you have to go to the library or research DO IT. Buy books on your subjects to help you if you can or if it's cheaper get a tutor..assuming it's cheaper to read maybe try google they have a few free electronic reads - maybe they have something on chemistry.

Do not give up. It gets harder than you think. The teachers do not care and once you get to college all the hard work and hours of reading will show up!

read 25 books a year is a requirement for a reason. some people read a heck of a lot more..

Your really supposed to be reading subject matter - that's what the teachers don't want you to know...

But the biggest secret of all is perhaps your own government...good luck.

  2. You can take summer school and get sum extra creditsz. Graduating isz more important than your social life right now. Remember that.

  3. I feel the same way. It is like all time is for study and none for friends. I feel your painl.

  4. Wow, is the first thing I have to say. Eight credits? That's a huge mess up, but I'm sure you realize that.

You need to talk to your counselor about your classes and credits to see what you can do about the deficiency. Here, where I live, we have a remedial high school where credit-deficient people are transferred to if they are in danger of not graduating. See if that option is available for you as well.

You're only a sophomore, so keep working hard at it. You messed up but it's time to pick yourself back up. Get the credits you need for your next three years of high school and see what you can do to get the ones that you missed.
