I'm afraid my teacher is creeped out by me?

I'm g*y (18) but I dont know if she (27ish) knows that because I'm not flamboyant about it. I'll admit, I'm a weird kid and I am really goofy. When ever I walk into class I always have some crazy story to tell and a huge grin on my face. Because I love her class and the way she teaches and because that's just how I am. Her teacher friends who have known me for years know that I have all innocent intentions. But I feel something cool and special with her. So I write her notes (not sexual, on key with the subject matter sarcastic much of the time) and she laughs at them. And we talk about serious stuff too. But I was re-thinking and I think she may take some of the things I do the wrong way. Now I am really self-conscious. Like, If you had a student like that, how would you react? Should I stop?

Are teachers trained for stuff like that?

  1. Teachers are trained to keep the doors open when interacting with a student one/on/one.    Never should a teacher be alone with a student regardless of sexual orientation.   I get notes from my students all the time, laugh with them, get hugs from them, etc., but they are only 8 and 9  years old (3rd grade).    She will only take things the wrong way if they go that way.    Usually student teacher relationships like this are healthy until some pervert gets some stupid ideas and spreads untruths.    Have fun with your teacher but remember that she is an authority and there are boundaries that must be followed or it could ruin not only her job at your school but her entire career.
