I'm afraid,cause they say that the ps4 in 2013-2014 is a lie and that it will release in 2012 the most,I'm afraid,I just got the ps3 2 months ago when I thought that this cycle will last longer and that sony and microsoft stated that their next consoles is in 2013-2014 at least,now I found out that it was a lie and I'm afraid because of it!!!!!!!tell Me can sony or microsoft release a new console before 2013-2014???

They can do anything they want. It's not our choice but probably they won't release another one so soon. The xbox 720 is in development as are new consoles. But as I said, they are in development and in no way complete.

Your money isn't going to waste.  You'll have your PS3 for at least another 4-5years and that is if you get the PS4 the day it comes out.  Look how long the PS2 is lasting.  Having an electronic device last 5 years as the most powerful machine on the market is excellent.

Yea be afraid the new PS4 is coming out in September, The PS5 is coming out in Jan-09

Seriously PS3 is just starting out right now and you complaining like its dead, The nex gen consoles will be out in about 2012-2014

Lets say the console does come out on 2012, how can you go 3/4 years without a console?+ the time you dont buy a nex gen? They day the ps4 come out you have to buy it??? Just like you bought the ps3 right? You bought it 2 months ago not right when it came out!

Thats about 1400 days with out a console?

If you are so afraid sell your PS3 On ebay, or craigs list or stop complaining

I know people who bought the 360 (20gbs) for so expensive, now they are $300,

I know People who bought the PS3s for $1000!

Ok Agent 47, youre completely wrong. The PS3 would never be released that late. Its supposed to be released by 2012 at the least, 2015 at the maximum.

No, you didnt waste your money. If you bought your PS3 in 2008, that means you have 4,5,6, or maybe even 7 years to use it. How is that wasting money. Thats not wasting it at all. Besides, Sony and Microsoft can release their console whenever the want to. So just remember that your really using your PS3 to good use because you have all these years to use it.

Microsoft and Sony would never release the new consoles soon. They want to give a lot of time to the current consoles that are making great sales back and forth. It will be a while before we hear talk about the next new consoles coming out soon. A really long while.

they could, but that would be slightly homicidal as so many people have wasted so much money on the ps3 and xbox 360, just to get a ps4 and xbox 720 released a few years later, that sony and microsoft would receive several death threats and my friend says he might go after them himself.
