Does this happen to everyone? Especially my expensive jeans, for some reason. My dad works at Amway so we get their detergent that doesn't smell like anything - is this the problem? How can I make my clothes last longer?

  1. Maybe its actually your dryer - if its not getting hot enough, mold may develop that stinks and permeates your clothes. Trying hanging your clothes to dry on a line, outside if you can, and see if that makes a difference.

  2. Never had this problem I use gain and it works fine. Maybe try changing your washing detergent or putting some vinegar and water in the washer machine and put it on light cycle it might be a mildew smell in your washer that you need to get out of the washer machine before you wash another load. Good Luck!!

  3. The simple answer is to add fabric softner to final rinse cycle and it will smell good

  4. Maybe you leave them in the washing machine too long and they mildew?Try getting them in the dryer sooner

  5. mine smell nice

  6. You should switch detergent, or use something special for yourself. I had stinky baby clothes from spit up and I started using Tide or Gain, and my clothes smell Delicious now! I think you need to get the life back in them! Some detergent just makes them smell dingy.
