Or would I have to get a loan? Would I have to use credit cards?

Thanks.

  1. toucansam456, Let me start out by saying I'm not the smartest person when it comes to auto repair. Last week I had an accident with my Chevrolet Blazer and I wasn't sure how to fix them. I tried to search the Internet for help, but the procedures were too difficult for my skills. I ended up going to the dealship for my repairs. The dealership tends to charge more than mom and pop repair shops, but they've seen all sorts of situations ( insurance problems, repair warranty issues, etc) and they seem to always find a way to help me. Maybe you can try calling auto repair shops in your area to see if they can help you. http://www.autorepairshoplocator.com

  2. Use your credit credit card.

  3. If your car is less than 10 yrs old, you can get repair insurance. Used car dealers always get this insurance, add it to the price of the car, then tell you they'll fix it :cause they're really terrific guys.

  4. I agree with above.  Aside from a few national chains that have their own credit card system, you cannot make payments for repairs ( unless you're willing to leave the vehicle there ).  No shop that I know of will release a car without full payment being made first.

  5. My suggestion is trying to obsord as much information as you can before making up your mind, here is a good one.http://car-loan.free-deal.info/free-car-...

  6. Credit cards or a loan. I do not know of any shops that will finance their repairs. I know I would not.
