His family was going to allow me to live with them while we save and till i go through the process of becoming a citizenship or what not. I just don't know where to start i mean i want to work as soon as i can. So i guess my questions are What are the odds of me being accepted and Can someone point me in the direction of where to start from step one of imigration.

  1. Since you are not related, your bf's family cannot sponsor your immigration.  You will have to qualify for immigration on your own, or find a job with an employer who is willing and able to apply for your employment visa.  Canadian citizens are forbidden to work in the US, and US citizens are forbidden to work in Canada without proper visas.

You can go to Canada as a tourist for up to 180 days if you can prove you have sufficient funds to provide for all of your living expenses for the duration of your stay.  Working is strictly prohibited!

See the Immigration Canada website and take their online test to see if you might have enough points to qualify to apply for immigration.  Having enough points to apply does not mean you will be accepted.

  2. in one question you madly in love with a boy from the UK  now you want to live with a Canadian...maybe you have some serious thinking to do

it is difficult to immigrate at your age,you need to be a skilled worker

  3. Canadians can work in the US and US citizens can work in Canada....easy isn't it. You shouldn't even bother changing your citizenship at this stage. US citizens can not have dual citizenship, so you can't be both canadian and US.
