My mom didn't give my boyfriend a chance, she found out his age and refused for me to see him again. We've been together for over seven months and i love him more than I ever thought I could love someone.

  1. Ha ha dont i know that feeling.... Im 19 and i moved out with my 25 yr old boyfriend who i had been dating for 9 months. Currently i am doing a uni degree and its all going fine. He works fulltime so at the moment he supports the both of us but im looking for parttime work. I wouldnt say it was wrong of you to move out. Just try not to loose contact with your parents though, they are still very important influences in your life and can help out a fair bit, especially if you are strapped for cash and the rent is due!

You just have to understand that your parents are worried about you, seriously they will never stop seeing you as their little baby girl, so try not to hold it against them too much lol

I think you will find over the next few weeks/months there will be some drastic changes going on around you but if you are committed to your boyfriend and your future im sure you will be able to work though everything just fine!

  2. Then prove them wrong...relationships are hard and your young but if you believe in it you can make it work...

  3. you should finish school first. i moved in with my guy, 1 week after i graduated and it was hard, really hard. he was only a year older but had his own life it was hard to mesh the two together, we fought constantly. moving in with someone is a huge commitment. the age gap really is scary. 5 years is alot when yer young. if he really wanted you to move in then good luck but if you did it to get back at or away from your parents rethink your decision.

if you had a child and found out she was dating a much older more experianced man how would you feel. they are just trying to protect you, i mean you are still in high school. the real world is a scary place to many bad decisions and your done theres no starting over.
