I want to engage in an adventure out of the country. For once in my life I must endure true international experience. Money is an issue however, and I'm hoping for a job in another country so I can come back to college with money ready for MCAT courses and tuition. I have the following qualifications. Is anything possible?

Junior at SUNY ALBANY with a Double Major in Honors Biology (BS) and Honors English

- Decent knowledge of the Spanish Language

- 3.76 Science GPA

- 3.83 English GPA

- 3.83 Overall GPA

- 11 On Each MCAT

- 2 Semesters of Research (Biophysics & Biochemistry)

- 60+ Volunteer Work for the Hospital

- Presidental Honors Society

- Phi-Delta-Epsilon Medical Fraternity

  1. Go to teach  English in Japan or South Korea, they pay well. But maybe you need to talk with career office in your school.  Because I am not sure if these two countries have special or formal channel which you have to be their members so  you can teach in these 2 countries.

But I know in Taiwan, you just go and introduce yourself to schools or cram schools only, then they will make a decision. The disadvantage is , they don't pay well, compare to Japan or South Korea. If you need money, I won't suggest you to go to Taiwan.

  2. I currently teach in South Korea.  That would help your English major, but not your medical stuff.  You can teach here after you have a BA.  You can teach in China without a BA.  Go search at TEFL.com.

  3. You can buy an English, Irish, Canadian, Australian, or New Zealand short-term work visa through BUNAC. They have a lot of good support (like helping to set up a bank account, finding housing, and social events if you stay in London or Dublin) and you won't have to learn a new language and can apply for almost any job!

  4. Hi..

    Nice to meet you here!

I'm a chinese girl, If you wanna work outside, maybe china is a good choice. CZ OG is coming, during these days, you can teach in china, and visit here also.. Couldn't be better. What do you think about it?
