Would it be difficult for me to get a job there for a length of time? Do you have any links that could maybe help me get established? Any info is appreciated.

You might want to check out the employment agencies in the UK and register with a few of them.  Depending on what type of work you're looking for, and college degree and experience will make a difference, too.  The agencies shouldn't charge YOU for the service, they charge the employer.
