I'm an Irish person and I want to travel to another area of Ireland.?

Question

Which is the best place to go? I live outside Dublin and I want to spend a holiday in a different county.

I was thinking maybe the dingle Peninsula!

Depending on the time of year, a cruise on the Shannon can be nice - especially hopping from village to vilage by boat on Lough Derg - Terryglas is one of my favourite spots.

Clifden near Galway is also nice - again depending on weather, you can hop over to Inisboffin.

county galway for me, spend a few days in galway city then head to connemara for a while, clifden is really nice.

in and around dingle is a great place to go, nice scenery and lots of things to do, during the day, and the atmosphere in the local pubs at night is great fun.  I went there a few years ago to see fungi the dolphin, it must have been his off day, he never showed up. around the peninsula there's this road, lots of bends on a very steep hill, thats scary going on that road.

go anywhere along the west coast, the scenery is class looking. living on the north-east coast, it's full of buildings everywhere now. I always head to the west coast for my holidays. County Clare is a great place to go to aswell. around doolin and the cliffs of moher and County Donegal. are you thinking about flying, or are you driving down to dingle.

I just booked weekend trip to killarney, kerry. earlier on, bloody h**l it's cheaper to go foreign, 6 of the group are flying to kerry airport and the rest of us are going in car, I don't like flying so I'll stick the 5 + hour car journey.

try northern ireland.the antrim coast is beautiful and the giants causeway is something else.there are lots of really good places to visit.if you want to contact me i will give you more info
