I just come back to Vietnam to visit my parents and then go back to the US to continue to study but my visa will expire during the time I'm in Vietnam. And I got a new I-20 from the college I wanna apply for.

It's so hard to say these days.  Your I-20 should help.  You might also want copies of your transcripts to show that you were a full-time student previously.  However, it's still one of those uncertain questions.

I'd suggest you get in touch with the International Student Advisor at your school to find out what he/she knows.  They're far more in touch with what is happening with international students at your school.

If you are now in VN, contact the consulate either in HCMC or HN. If you are still in the states, ask the student affairs office at your university.
