  1. Fatigue and memory loss are listed on the "side effects", but that doesn't mean it will affect you that way. Just pay close attention to your energy levels and note any other changes. If you do experience any of the side effects, ask your doctor about alternative medications that are less likely to have those side effects.

  2. Yes, yes it will.  Multi affects result from prozac.

Some are more aggressive, some more focused, some zombied out.

The real question you need to ask is:

Does prozac help your social anxiety?  Yes?

Then the answer is simple:  Prozac is a tool to help you live your life better which includes acting better.

  3. From what I've heard, anti-depressants numb you more than allow you to be "happy".  If you suffer from depression, as many artistic types do, you may have to make a decision about the medication. If you are now taking Prozac, wait a couple of months after you've started the medication and see if it does affect your performance.

All mind/mood altering medications affect each individual differently.

  4. If you have the creativity and the acting ability it will shine through .Good luck to you.

  5. An actor is supposed to portray a wide range of emotions at the very least.  So how can you do that if your not feeling them.  I would think the more feeling you have from the heart would make you a better actor so if your feelings are dulled by chemicals then the performance will be dulled it as well.
