At the age of 12 I was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (Bone cancer, tumor)....I'm now 20, and I been okay...i would like to take supplements to help my energy throughout the day when i start school. I would like to take "B-Complex by Shaklee" and "One-A-Day for Men" can anyone give me some good feedback on this? and just an FYI, I do eat good, with plenty of protein (to survive the day day lol) and I exercise good (hence my old question).

  1. Yes, it's safe.

  2. Ask your doctor first.

If he/she says OK, I would use a natural brand like Rainbow Light, or even Whole Foods store brand is good.   Make sure the one you get is low in copper, nickel and iron, Rainbow Light has a formula specifically for men.

Also up your vegetable and fruit intake for extra energy.

I don't trust One-A-Day, they get some minerals from sources contaminated with lead and other heavy metals.

  3. I'm 16 years free of osteosarcoma and I take them with no worries.

I was put on b-12 and Iron for a while thanks to some low iron levels post chemo.

I really don't think it will cause any negative impacts this long after having the bone cancer. Now that you're ten years cancer free you're pretty well on par with everyone else. But if you have concerns ask your doctor.

I'm not sure if your immune system took a hit post chemo but taking natural supplements like Vitamin C to prevent colds might be a good idea.

  4. Ask your doctor before you take anything.

  5. In German New Medicine the bone cancer is a healing type tumor and if you keep up your self esteem more likely not to re-occur. German New Medicine http://germannewmedicine.ca/documents/we...

IF you take vitamins then natural types are better not the synthetic ones.

But to prevent cancer IMO watch your emotions.
