  1. I guess you could go to college but not be able file for financial aid because you aren't a U.S. citizen. Anyone could go to college as long as they have the grades and the money. I saw an ep. on the show 30 days (which is a documentary show.) and there was a girl who is also an illegal immigrant who wanted to go to college and she was able to but it wasn't the college of her first choice because of course Stanford is hard to get in. She seem to be able to go I'm sure you could too. It's just that you probably won't be able to get the U.S. government to pay or loan you money for your tuition.

  2. Uh, you need to make yourself legal....

  3. ok firs of all why do you write you are an illegal allian??? **** that you are not proud of being mexican?? i am mexican!! and **** this people hatting on mexicans stop hatting cause you ain't one!! and yes you can go to collage and then work don't give up!!!!

  4. Go home.

  5. I came to this country from Iran when I was one year old … My parents never told me I was an illegal immigrant, they always just told me that our case was "pending" and that was that. When I was graduating high school, my parents just told me to apply to whatever school I wanted, and since I didn't know I was illegal, I didn't question it.

On my application, where it asks "Are you a US citizen", I replied 'No', but when it asked for my status, I just wrote 'Pending'. I remember, a couple weeks into my freshman year, one of the school officials called me in and just asked me if my status has since changed. I said, "No, its still pending.". After that day, I was never approached again about the subject, and I was able to graduate. I did graduate with a 4.0, and got a great job with my degree.

I was very lucky to get away with it, but I did graduate 4 years later! I have eventually since become a legal resident, and am now eligible for citizenship.

  6. Don't listen to all those mean comments, it wasn't your fault you were brought here illegally. I would say talk with an immigration lawyer and start taking the steps to become legal.

    Good luck ^^

  7. my cousin has the same problem...but you CAN go to college, you just wont get anny help from the gov. you it will be expensive

you wont be able to get student loans or gov. aid but there are some universities that could help you look around your state

some i recommend looking at is UCSC and Fresno State

and dont listen to these people...its not like there going to pay for your education...keep your eyes on the prize my friend

  8. Hang in there, both candidates are  trying to make us one big happy family ,the North American Union is already underway,Yippy! We

will all be poor peasants ruled by the elite.

  9. I think you can go to Community College.

  10. Take to an immigration lawyer and see if he can put you on a waiting list for citizenship.

You need to be able to plead your case in court as to why you should receive citizenship and be allowed to stay.

Though I think you'll do fine since the court will recognize you were brought here when you were a child, and from the sounds of it you get good grades since you want to be an engineer and be productive in society.

  11. AJ,

I sent many of these comments to the report abuse for hateful language,  I personally think it is not your fault you are here illegally since you were brought over here as a child.  However, if you have a ss# you probably are ok to enroll in college.  However, I do think you need to figure out how to become legal.

You never know when you could be deported.

  12. how did you go to school with any id if you think your and illegal, more likely you are a legal residence, and those who say to go back home, their world is small

  13. You can, but you can't get any financial help.

and without scholarship it will be almost impossible.

    don't give up!

  14. well you dont say where you live now, but anything is possible, anyway where i live, which is LA, i still consider this mexico.

  15. it is true you cannot go to college unless you are able to foot the whole bill yourself you are not entitled to any help and if you were not born here then you must have someone else's social security number or a fake one the best thing you can do is to go to college in Mexico

  16. You shouldn't have any trouble getting into a college in Mexico.

Meanwhile, if you came here as a child, why are you still illegal?  Get legal and you will be able to go to college in the US.

  17. I'm sorry but I do not believe any of this. This account is too new and seems like you are just making this up. But if you aren't, my answer to your question is.... You are illegal, you aren't supposed to be here. Return to Mexico, come back the right way, then think about making a future for yourself legally in this country.

  18. Leave the country immediately to avoid deportation. If you graduated from college, how could you get a job as an illegal? At those higher paying jobs, they really check you out.

  19. People are a**holes!

    Listen to me.

Its going to be hard whatever which way you go.

You need to finish highschool first obviously.

You still might be able to go to a community college. I dont know what ur situation is. If you have a social security card or what.. some illegals have those. When you apply you would have to lie about being a citizen. You need to start applying for your citizenship ... start looking into it.

Worse comes to worse .. you go back to Mexico and go to college there.

Do not let anyone discourage you. Wanting to go to college and better yourself is the best thing you can do. A lot of white americans wont even do that .... americans are lazy...

Thats why we have alot of illegals coming here to WORK HARD and do all the dirty work that we dont want to do.

  20. Mexico.
