I have come across a phone service that allows you to make international calls by simply dialing a local rate phone number. So if you can make free local calls (free inclusive minutes on your phone tariff), then this will be included and the international call will be free. See the links below for more details.... For international calls, go to an Internet cafe where its much cheaper to make international calls. There is a big one in Leicester Square and there is always a person holding a big sign saying cheap internet and international calls. I went there to make international calls and it was much cheaper than any of the cards i got.

use skype it's super cheap and if you have video chat on your computer you can talk to people for free. i used it to call back home California while i was in England
