I'm a moderator of a G-rated bodybuilding Yahoo group, originally categorized in the Sports category. I've been very careful to keep it G-rated by moderating and approving only G-rated posts. The group was re-catorgorized as an adult group without my knowledge or approval. Who did that and how do I change it back.

  1. Someone must have complained to Yahoo about the group for some reason.  Yahoo would have then re-categorized it. They do not warn you before doing that.

You can use the Yahoo Groups Help form and let them know exactly what your group's content is about and ask them to put it back in the Sports category. Many group owners have done this and Yahoo did re-categorize their groups.  Here is link to the Help form.  http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

  2. there's a nasty bot/ glitch doing this to many groups. you have to be sure there is no adult content within the group, send in this form and include the category it should be in. yahoo will take a look and if they decide it's not adult, they'll reset it within 24 hrs
