I'm applying to colleges after this summer...scholorship help?

Ok, I really need to find scholorships but I don't know how to aplly to them. I tried fastweb and I'm not sure that helped with anything. Like for most of them you have to write essays, but I'm taking ap and honors classes and dont have enough time to waste to write an essay knowing that more than likely I wont even win anything. I mean what are the odds of ME getting something when like a million other people apply too. So does anyone have any suggestions...? I'm just so confused and my school doesnt help anyone with anything.

Go (or call) the financial aid office at the colleges you want to attend (or have been accepted to).  Find out what they recommend.  I can tell you that you will more than likely have to suck-it-up and start writing the essays because that is what they use as an evaluative tool.  I guess you just have to decide how much you want it and how badly you want to get a scholarship.
