  1. Chile? Cold? Clothes? HONEY---go naked! It is muy muy CALIENTAE down there!

  2. www.weather.com

and put in Santiago, Chile in the top text bar.

  3. Yes, it will be 36 degrees (2 celsius) in the morning and go up to 16 during the day.  Should be a beautiful day, but the mornings are cold nowadays

  4. Right now is very cold. You will need heavy clothes just like you were going to NEW YORK in the winter.  The air pollution is really bad right now, you may need a mask, the kind Doctors use or the kind painters use, I'm not kidding. In Santiago the SMOG is horrible. Try to get out there, if you get to cold take a plane to Arica is always spring there.

  5. I live in Australia which is on about the same latitude as Chile and at the moment here the temperature ranges from 1 degree celsius to about 20 degrees.  Take long pants and a couple of jumpers.  It can get quite cold there as you will be at the bottom of the Andes.  I would suggest taking some warm clothes too as it is the beginning of winter.

  6. Its the middle of Autumn right now, so take so light close in case they still have warmer days but also just pack in those sweaters and jackets for the cooler weather..

Enjoy your trip and take care!

  7. Apart from being in fall/winter (winter officially starts June 21st) it is considered as one of the worst falls in history. Two days ago it rainned and even had snow frost in Santiago, which is unusual in May/June. Bring winter clothes, especially a nice thick coat or jacket which you could wear on top of a sweater. Bring comfortable shoes which are water proof and if possible scarf and gloves. The best thing right now with this unusual weather is go for the layers. A tshirt, a sweatshirt of sweater on top and a coat or jacket which will protect you from the cold, especilly if you go out at night.

  8. June is winter in Chile and most of the houses there don't have any insulation in them so depending on where you stay you can be cold indoors or outdoors. I lived in Concepcion for two years and I would wear a sweater during the days it was cold and every once in a while wool socks and a stocking cap at night. I would recommend at least a sweater and warm coat. You might want to have an umbrella also because it will be a cold rain if it starts.
