How many hours can I work and still get the maximum benefit of SSI? I currently work at a movie theater working about 10 hours a week receiving minimum wage. I plan on working 20 hours a week during the school year because I'm taking business internship. Is that okay to work 15-20 hours or would I loose SSI? Also how much per a month would I start loosing money if I make too much. I right now work two days a week so I only get around $240 a month. If I work 4 days a week I'd make about $480 a month.

This would be what I'd get for my column if I qualify. Which I did receive more paperwork in the mail to state more info so that should be a good thing. I most likely will qualify for SSI.

New SSI Payment Rates Effective January 1, 2008

If I received the full amount I'd be getting $720.78 per a month under my situation and my category.

Please help? I really need this info so I don't work to much and if I get SSI. I don't loose it. It's money that I really need.
