Question:

I'm attempting to put some 22in wheels on my car but the tire is to big? New tires are the last resort...?

What are my other options? I've heard bending the coil up but I ned more options...2005 chevy monte carlo, wheel dimensions are 255 35 22...help?

  1. My man they really don't get too much smaller on the 22s. Those just might be too big.  You only have a set area to put those in under the wheel well, 22s might not even fit.


  2. Your simplest option is some kind of lift kit to raise the car up.  This may make the car look goofy although I did see a large sedan not sure if it was a Lincoln or a Cadillac running lifted on big wheels a couple of days ago.

    Beyond that simple solution you would have to do extensive reshaping of the wheel wells and axles to fit the wheels in their normal position.
