Yes... taylor does sing for everybody who says she doesn't. I've read the script. And no it's not HSM 2 its the first one. And the script is NOTHING like the movie. So PLEASE don't say that Taylor doesn't sing. Because you would be wrong. :D

  1. GOOD LUCK TO YOU TAYLOR ;D

somewhere over the rainbow is a winner!

shows of all the different aspects of your voice scale [low to high]

thats why its the most popular audition song EVER!:D

ofcourse if you want to be original sing something like...

id do anything - oliver twist

musical songs are made for auditions

    THE BEST OF LUCK

    LOVE EMMA

    XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

  2. hey. im a huge HSM fan, so i know the movie like the back of my hand lol.

but taylor doesnt really sing much in either movie, especially the 1st one...

however, in the second one, she does have small verses in "All For One" and "What Time Is It?"

so my suggestion would be to sing one of those songs...

    good luck though :)

  3. my friend vicky says counting on you if you know it

if not then we're all in this together

  4. Taylor, doesnt even sing in High School Musical

  5. To get the part of Taylor just sing a song that you really like that you think you do the best at.  Sing a song that really sounds good for your voice and a song that you are comfortable in.

  6. cool how do you do that?anyways you should sing a solo that gabriela sings like gotta go mt own way. i would! hope you get choosen!

  7. One of the World's biggest misnomers.  If you are auditioning for a musical, you do not need to sing anything from that particular production (unless specifically required by the audition).  You would be much better served, and more likely to get the part you want, by singing whatever song showcases your voice and on-stage presence the best.  So, pick something that you can be animated with, that fits your range the best, and showcases your voice -- don't even worry about what the song is, or even if it is from a musical.

  8. Sing a high school musical song. ;)

    Breaking free..

I suggest you do not sing Bet On It, but songs that Vanessa/Gabriella sings.

  9. 30 offers the most valid suggestion so far. UNLESS dictated, an audition is not designed for the party to execute a song, or lines from that particular piece of work.

Beyond that, I'm confused as to why you ask US for a choice of Whom??? We don't know YOU. It's very likely the audition may just be general, and with NO stated Characters to TRY OUT for.

IF you've become familiar with the play, and have at the very least, studied that character, then you should get a sense of what to do, should you get that far.

In the most base sense, your presentation is ONLY about your stage presence, any range, your general demeanor, attitude (MINUS EGO) and your professionalism, even if you have to act that out,,,and most especially if you are either rejected or accepted for a call back, which is still not a promise of a part.
