  1. I Enjoy Being a Girl - from Flower Drum Song

  2. if you want to do something from the musical, do blow gabriel blow. its in the section where she sings by herself. its like, a gospel song.

  3. That's my favorite musical ever. You should sing the title song "anything goes" It's a fun song.

  4. one thing i remember from doing theater when i was in middle school (not the same thing i know) is that most people advised against doing a song from the play you were auditioning for

just see what kind of music you like and pick something you enjoy singing

thoroughly modern millie has a lot of good songs

as do classics like 42nd street and Chicago

    break a leg!

  5. Stay with Cole Porter, but sing something from another one of his shows.  Without knowing your vocal range, it's hard to be specific, but there are so many good Porter songs out there, you're sure to find one that works for you.  Some of my particular favourites are:

    - Just One Of Those Things

    - What Is This Thing Called Love?

    - Night and Day

    - It's All Right With Me

    - I've Got You Under My Skin

I'd suggest looking at Kiss Me, Kate which has a lot of fantastic songs and is generally thought to be Porter's best score - "Too Darn Hot" is probably the best-known song from the show and if it fits your vocal range, is a great audition song.
