I'm auditioning to get into a Bachelor of Music specialising in contemporary voice. I have to film the audition and submit it on video. As it is being recorded I'm not sure how great the sound quality will be, so do you think they would mind if I amplified my voice by using a microphone -- or could that be seen as cheating? Is it normal to use a microphone in an audition or is it really against all the rules? I'm sorry if this is a silly question! :-) Any advice would be appreciated.
