I'm away at school and I feel homesick what do I do?

My advice would be to hang in there! Make new friends and go hang out with them. Saying that, I recommend you pick the right group of friends because friends who are headed the wrong way can take you with them, and in college if you go the wrong way, it effects you far worse than your earlier years. Don't just sit in your dorm all day and think about being back home, but go out, have fun and enjoy yourself till school starts and then you won't have time to be homesick.
