I'm babysitting tonight and...?

Question

It's my 6 year old and 9 year old cousin. [Both girls.] I've babysat them before, and when they were younger, it was so much easier to get them to do something. All I had to say was, "Do you want to watch a movie?" And they'd get excited, watch it, and fall asleep during. But now, if I ask them, they go "Movies are boring." And they never have any idea of what to do. I'll ask them "What do you guys wanna do?" And they'll go "I don't know." THEN, if I SUGGEST something by guessing, either one will like it and the other one won't, it's not possible, or they both won't like it. Any ideas on some good, fun activities? One's a tomboy and one's a girly-girl. Thanks<333

cook/bake with them! go on the computer and go to sites they wanna go to!

Try playing hot potato...yeah it sounds stupid but these kids i babysit for love it!

Also you could try turning on some music and just dancing around.

If you are allowed to use the kitchen there (ask your aunt first), bake some cookies and let them decorate them.  Also, try to find a new movie and pop some popcorn and make believe you are at the theatre.  Have one of the girls be the cashier at the snack counter, have one take your ticket, etc.  Get really imaginative.

games are a great way to get together and new movies also go play outside if the sun is still out. Bring some games with you like tip it or candy land or even video games that has two or more players9There are games out there that are fun and not vilonet dance dance revlotion is one) At a chirstmas party  lot of the younger kids all girls and couple tom boys were bored and i had just gotten back my dance dance revoltion game form my sister in law and I had aPS2 in my car from moving I brought that in and tehy almost didnt let e take it home. One set s 50 doallars and it is fun to unlock sonsg and dance to them it takes whiel to et teh nag of it but it is exercise and a whole lot of fun try that. and dacneingt o teh raido is good too.

Well do something that is hands on. LIke painting, baking, maybe try the movie thing again but this time pretend it is a movie theater. See if your aunt has popcorn and maybe ask them what their favorite candy is. Sometimes things like drawing, making necklaces with beads will make them sio excited and keep them busy forever.
