I'm babysitting two kids, I need some very simple things to entertain them!?

These kids are only allowed to watch one show a day, and usually no computer. There's a 1st grade girl and a 4th grade girl. I need some simple things to do without a lot of mess! They like to act out things, but I don't have much creativity.

Play "baby cats and the owner" or "evil stepmother and cinderellas" or pirates and fairies, etc.

If they're not super girly girls go on a nature trail

if they love to act try cherades. bring over a board game and play. when i babysit, we always have a round of hide-and-go-seek before bed. we do puzzles and they like to show off by playing piano or singing or showing me trophies or whatever. I know its a little bit weird but suggest playing games that you played when you were their age. most girls prefer to be "the babies" of whatever your playing and insist your "the mom" its a little embarrassing to crawl on your knees for 1/2 an hour but the kids love it. The gr. 4 girl might feel shes a bit old, so make sure to alternate between 1 grade games like baby cats, and 4 gr games like board games and hide and go seek. take them outside to the park and make them run around to burn off some energy. the kids always seem to have endless energy when a babysitter is over.

make sure whatever mess you make, you clean up when the kids go to bed. you need to make sure that both the kids and the parents like you, so they hire you again.

im not sure about how picky you are about messes but a good board game usually works when i babysit people. And if you are into it you can go outside play some sports or heck just go for a walk with them thats always worked for me

Play a board game.

Read a story.

Cut paper and make a picture with the cut outs.

Make a play - use the three little pigs or similar story.

Play charades.  The game where you guess what the other person is trying to act out.  Do they have any board games?  Play Fish with playing cards.  Or 31.
