I'm being emailed group messages from an email address of which I am no longer the subscriber. I can't unsubscribe to these groups since I do not actually have that email address ( from hotmail ) anymore, therefore, the emails keep being sent to my email address unchecked. It probably started when I joined the group with the old hotmail address and later opened this yahoo address and decided to forward from the groups settings. I can't find a way to unsubscribe, please help.

  1. Look at the very bottom of one of those emails.  You will see a link "Unsubscribe".  Click on that.  A new email message will come up - you don't have to type anything in it - just click Send.  You probably will receive an email from Yahoo asking if you really want to unsub, just follow instructions on that email to confirm it.

    OR

On one of those emails, there will be a "Visit Your Group" link.  Click on that and it will take you to that group.  You can sign in to it and unsubscribe there.  Here's how to do that:

Once you are signed in to the group, click on "Edit Membership" near top of page.  On the lower right side of page, click on "Leave Group", then confirm that you do wish to leave the group.  That will instantly unsub you - you might receive a few more messages then they will stop coming.

  2. 1. Try to unsubscribe through:

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

    2. Send an e-mail to the group owner telling him/her to stop mailing you. (GROUPNAME-owner@yahoogroups.com)

    3. Block the address(es) or arrange your preferences so that they are sent to your bulk/spam folder.

    4. Contact yahoo customer care:

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

  3. either unsubscribe using the old email address (you don't need to have it anymore, you should be able to go to the admin website, address at the bottom of each message, and enter your old addy into a field to unsub), or just mark them as junk, and your email program will intercept them all and junk them.
