Should I accept? I also have Frank Gore, Willie Parker, Kevin Smith, Felix Jones in the backfield. My WRs are Donald Driver, Brandon Marshall, Laveraneus Coles, Marques Colston. I have plenty of RBs but need a WR.

  1. Keep Johnson and trade Gore for Galloway. Thats the best option. Driver and Colston are great for starters and Marshall will be a force in week 2 so those are ok. Keep LJ as he is just too good right now.

  2. No, do not do it LJ is a sure fire #1 RB while Galloway is a #3 WR unless you don't have any WR's don't do this deal.

  3. I'm iffy too, but might be worth a gamble.

  4. i'd say no

  5. with those WRs all joey galloway will be is a backup. larry johnson may not be that great, but as a starting RB he has the potential to become a very good producer. you can get a much better trade for larry, or for any of your other RB. if it were galloway for jones, i might consider it, but this is a terrible trade.

  6. Personally I wouldn't do it. But do it if you really want, it's really a low risk/low reward trade.

  7. tempting as Galloway seems to be always under rated.  But listen, Larry Johnson may not get the numbers he did two or three years ago because of the line and other offense KC does not have, but he is the LONE rb in KC.  There are not too many of those around this year.  A lot of teams have gone to rbbc.  Larry Johnson is a common top 10 draft choice in a lot of leagues.  At least by the 20th pick.  Where was Galloway?  Yes, that is for a reason.  the reason is consistent 'give him the rock' backs are scarce right now and Larry will be a key focus of KC.  my point, you can get more for Larry.  And don't give up on Larry,  His first few matchups are tough.  You will be tempted in the first few weeks to dump him.  Hold on to when his defensive matchups get easier and he will be fine.

If you want Galloway, offer up Parker or Felix Jones.  Probably Felix.  As for your WR - not sure of your positions, etc, but yours are very good.  You don't need Galloway that bad except for possible bye week considerations.  Don't give up a RB you could start nearly every week for a backup wr for your team.

oh my gosh, one recommendation to trade Gore???  that must be the guy using a fake idea in your league to get you to trade Gore to him.  What an idiot.  DO NOT trade Gore for Galloway.  Anything worse than trading Larry Johnson for Galloway is trading Gore.  Geeze.  I wish that guy was in my league so I could rape all his players from him in trades.
